Thanks for your quick and clear answer.
And yes ... I have a lot of fun with your game !
I encourage minimalist RPG fan to discover and enjoy your work.
Hello. Congratulations for this concise but elegant game. Can you please explain how a character or a non-character loses hit points : if I roll a success do I inflinct one damage ? THANKS !
Hi there! Thanks very much, both for the congrats and the feedback, it's much appreciated!
That is actually a great point, I may have forgot to specify that. I would say that, in the case of an enemy attacking a player-character, a successful hit would result in a loss of 1 HP unless otherwise stated in the description for that enemy. On the other hand, if a player-character attacks an enemy, that enemy dies outright on a successful hit unless it: a) states otherwise in their description, or b) the player-character wishes not to kill. Hopefully this clears that up a wee bit.
I have yet to playtest Pommel as of 6/12/22, however that should hopefully happen soon once I and some friends get some free time. That will probably result in me putting out an updated version of the game. In the meantime I'll compile this sort of feedback from players and update Pommel on a weekly basis, so keep an eye out for new versions on a Sunday or Monday.
Thanks again and I hope you have fun with the game! :)
